| I 've spent a lot of time searching for just such a site as this..... then I drifted into other projects and, just recently, decided to revive my search for a well-designed collaborative music site.
So, I'm excited to be here.
I operate with a set of Roland V-Tour electric drums, but many of my presets replicate (to my ears) nice, woody acoustic kits to a tee. Consequently, I hope those artists that are looking for acoustic drums will consider my efforts. I have an Alesis Micron synth (warm pad atmospheres aplenty!) and my wife plays a Schecter Omen 6 with the DigiTech RP250 fx modeler.
Although I am running Ableton Live 5, I prefer my Fostex MR8-HD for multitracking. I'm just a sucker for all things tactile, I suppose.
There's also a marimba and 4 or 5 acoustic 6-strings strewn about the place, so who knows?
My wife Iris and I have been involved with a few indie film scores here and there, and our stuff tends to lean toward the ambient, shoegaze instrumental soundtrack side of things. Please check some out at:
