Hey Kompozeurs (an accent mark on the last syllable), this is Kevin Dallas better known as Kadje5. I put up an old scratch demo called Goodbye Madness. I knew it was a good song but after getting it going in early 2005 I couldn't advance it because the Cakewalk project was accidentally destroyed by a mentally challenged producer type (me!). the track needed to be remixed and it needed drums and other instruments added. back in those days I only had FM7 as a plugin (now I have nearly an unlimited pallette!) and so I tried to simulate lead guitar with a BASS plugin on the high end! To make a long story short (too late!) I knew that the entire song had to be redone. So I approached several guys here at kompoz.com and what a blessing it was to catch the interest of Skrapco, Kevin Miller and Bjorn!!!! I mean is that not a great line up of talent? Kevin was totally willing even though he has been quite busy of late. the same goes for the other two. Kevin applied drums to the original scratch demo to get things rolling. Skrapco bit the bullet and dove in and recorded a new version of the song. If it sounds at all similar to something the Stones might have done...well that's ALL for he good because Kadje LOVES th's Rolling Truck Stones!!!!                                                  All we needed was drums from Kevin and bass from Bjorn. As i write these words both Kevin and Bjorn are working on their parts. Meanwhile, the singer (me) is resting his wretched and wrecked voice. Goodbye Madness is quite a bit harder than you'd think to sing. So I'll be okay I'm sure by the time kevin applies more drums and then Bjorn comes along and rocks us silly with his bass!!!! Hey, all I'm tryin' to say here is that ...Kompoz.com is a little bit of heaven for guys like me who are not bad at writing songs and need a bit of help in the recording department. Just you guys wait until we have this song done. it's gonna blow yer friggin' mind!

FAMILY! Kevvy is back with a vengeance. My computer was out. I had to fix it myself (which was SOME adventure!). I installed a new harddrive, then I put my OLD harddrive in an external HD enclosure and hooked that up to my USB port. THEN it was a matter of finding and reinstalling the plugins for Sonar. for many people that's an afternoon of work, but for good ol' Kadje5, it took the better part of 3 weeks!

check out my new joints; DEPEND which i'd like a female vocalist on; SKYRIDER, which needs to be totally redone ( l lost the cwp); DREAMERS OF THE SIXTH WAVE which need real drums. I also wouldn't mind a real bass player and a rhythm guitarist. If somebody out there plays violin THAT would be hot too!

I've been composing with Chase Matthews (Nu3reak) and he is just plain AMAZING! I just offer some lyrics, melody and a few keys here and there. MISUNDERSTANDINGS and Don't Touch(Radioactive) are incredible songs because of Chase's ability to play guitar, bass and drums and make it sound TIGHT!

I've been in contact with Raven85 and Breathtax and hopefully will be working with them very soon!
