| Overview |
Around 4 weeks ago, the water authorities in the UK cried their woes of persistent low rainfall and on announcing that we were officially in a state of drought issued a ban on all use of the hosepipe.
From this point onwards, not a lawn could watered, a drive pressure washed or a car cleaned without the fear of being slapped with £1000 fine.
Ironically, since that fateful day, it has rained constantly day and night and it's now official that this is the wettest April in the UK ever recorded, but the ban goes on.
Trudging down to the studio this evening in a most torrential downpour, I thought I needed to honour this bizarre situation in some way.
It's a bluesy, rocky number and if you feel so inclined, please feel free to do your stuff.
The usual: lyrics, vocals, drums, organ, piano, anything!!!
