Last week someone at work asked me for an upbeat song. So I am starting to record this. I need a bass for the entire song and some solo instruments (there are lots of empty areas). Also my drums are somewhat synthetic. So real drums would be awesome! If you feel you can do a better job with the guitar please add (I used a synth)!
The song is in A, and only uses D and A for majority of the song. Simple!
This is an old love song by sufi poet Bulleh Shah. The language is Punjabi. The lover is missing his love and calling out, "Come to my courtyard, my love. Whether you acknowledge me or not, come to my courtyard my love." The refrain "Ve Vehre Aa Vad Mere" Literally means "Hey, Verandah Come Into Mine."
