Yes this has graced not only the myriad of stereos at my house but gig break music. I even played this for a huge 3000 person event in a ballroom at the Paris here in Vegas for walk in music one morning. On the "big rig" made me smile and think of all you whom I never met but make this wonderful noise together.
You are all top shelf in my book!

Umm... what HE said!
You guys are top shelf and several of the shelves supporting it, and maybe some sort of reinforced fasteners, possibly 318 stainless.
See, mine was not nearly as eloquent.

I'm not going to argue with any of this. Can you imagine how much fun this would be to play live?
Marty you were dead on about the break. I think it makes the song.
When I listen to this stuff after being away from it for a while, I'm amazed at how good it really is.

It just would not be right to never play this stuff out live. It would be a ton of fun! Thats it! Its on the bucket list now.. hahaha...

You guys......
Ditto everything above.
I got the same reaction today at work.
I needed something to work too, I work better when I listen to something that came out of my brain or at least part of it. So, I put together a play list and let it rip.
This one came up and I just had to say something.
I had not heard it in a while and I was amazed, I thought, That's us? Wow.
Top shelf indeed. Aged and seasoned as well. LOL.
This I would play live. The bass part is a blast to play, it just feels good when you play it.
I looked for a drum track to play this bass part to for a few years. I remember posting the bass part years ago at cinergistics for Marty to hear, that was Oct 29, 2007 10:05 pm. I prefer the newer version.
If it was not for Cory's post of the drum part on Just Plain Fun Ya'll the bass part would still just be laying around. Very inspiring Mr. Frey.
You are all very inspiring.
I love the history, talk about patience.

That is interesting Pete. Adding to the history I remember this drum track took most of the day to record. I just could not get it right. I was determined to play it through end to end relatively clam free. Mainly cause I was shooting video as well at the time. I think the video of the actual drum track is still posted on my profile page and Petes too...
