I haven't been singing much lately so I needed a high energy track to work out some kinks and get the mics back up and tested. No big if you don't use it. Ryan has a great vocal on here already on here. Nice little song.

Well... listened to this last night and of course, I think it's great. I didn't post anything until now because I wanted to sleep on it and let my subconscious think about it.

Here's what it came up with:

How would you guys feel about uploading everything you both did? I think there's a way to mix in pieces of each.

What I'm thinking is: use Derek's new lead vox for the verses and pieces of Ryan's in the background (it works in my head) and on the loud chorus part, keep Derek singing in the center and Ryan - I still want to do that idea we worked out with the 'choir' part. I think 5 tracks of you singing the main melody, 5 tracks of the same melody an octave higher (or lower - whichever you prefer), and 5 tracks of a harmony - that could sound really huge. And the, I'll try to talk Sabine into doing the same to give it the male/female choir sound.

I think Ryan's lyrics on that part weave really nicely with Derek's part - while they aren't completely connected thematically, I think they complement each other well.

What do you guys think - I think it could be really spectacular...!
