Hello flamparadiddle, I have uploaded a new track without drums. I have also added a sync tone so if you use 60 bpm as the tempo, the song essentially starts on measure 3. It would be great if you could do a couple of variations (imagining a chorus, bridge, verse, etc). It may give me some ideas on building out the tune. Thanks for taking interest in my project. I look forward to hearing what you come up with.

Here is a lyric idea submitted for your approval. When the twilight zone gives you permission, let me know what you think.
A Show Of Shadows
When my thoughts begin to echo
I think it’s time to dream.
Send yourself to me.
There’s a fountain in the city
that sends colors to the night,
and the doves that sleep in the park
wake the sun when they take flight.
In the shade of the trees
there’s a show of shadows in the leaves,
and the voices among them
are where the shadows hung them,
all twisting along with the breeze;
and some of them are relived,
like one-time friends returned.
Kind of Chorus:
In the off-key harmony
and sound that repeats perfectly,
everything is celebrated
like some newfound ecstasy.
There’s an old barn in the country
that fills with dreams at night;
sweet bales of fresh mown hay
and snowy owls taking flight.
The old roof lets some stars in,
a show of shadow where lust occurs
with velvet love songs set among them;
remember how shadows have sung them
with their ever-changing words
in the mindset of the innocence
that let us think that time was ours.
Kind of Chorus Repeat
When my thoughts begin to echo
I know it’s time to dream.
Send yourself to me.

I Like It! Do you have any idea for a vocal melody?

Sorry, I don't. I just wrote the words in the free form mood of the music. None of the lines are longer than 9 syllables, so that is something. Did you have any ideas when you did this piece?
