This evening I will re record the track but at best I can only send four tracks, possibly five. Toms, Bronze, Snare and Bass. This was a first run through just as an idea for the feel so I will re record the track and send you the dry mono seps if that's any good to you. The ride on this is too deep and gong like. I think a brighter smaller one would be better.

hi, just to update you. I am re recording the track and will send seps asap. The more I heard what I sent the more I found fault with it. I will send you totally dry seps together with my mixed version. I will make sure I add the timing sync to match the main featured track. Might save some effort and time. Thankfully the festive season is over here and I can get back to normal now!

Thanks Steven, and happy new year to all too. I am still only just getting my head round this site. Not massively experienced in digital recording for the net but I'm getting there. I'm a bit old school still using tape and an analogue desk. I on a fast learning curve so I will be up to doing more soon

hi, Sorry about the long break, over the last few months I have completely updated all my studio gear. I bought a Presonus interface/mixer and an iMac to bring into the 21st century. Kept all my outboards but I was using an 8track 1" tape machine and it was causing file transfer headaches, still can't close to the warmth and sound but it was a nightmare. I have a new studio with my lovely old Yamaha 9000 kit as well as a top end electronic kit set up. So fingers crossed, I will be back into my music again soon and get away from all the geek stuff
