I shortened the length of the song, for demo purposes only. An instrument solo as Chrystal had suggested would be nice and would allow the tune to go back to its original length.

Joel: If there is anything you can do with the lyrics, that would be great. I think the structure of the vocals is pretty good, but to achieve that structure I repeated some verses and added some of words of my own. You know me well, and you know I'll be the first to say that I'm no poet. Therefore, by all means, if you can find a way to retain the feeling behind those words but express it better, smoother please go for it. Thanks.

Note: I think it will require 1 or 2 more iterations to complete this - lyrics, a few tweaks, small vocal timing adjustments, etc.

Woww, I love where this is going. Your melody is perfection. It's like the voice of Nick's nylon strings. Beautiful, beautiful melody and syncopation to go with your luscious voice, or, as Nick says, "smooooot" Eehee....

I'm not sure what you want me to do.

I liked everything you did.

Chrystal and Nick: Thanks for the compliment. Glad that you think my voice is "smooooooooot". My thinking was that this nice soft music and the lyrics require a soft singing voice - it is about love and a silent joy after all.

Joel: I'll go with what's here for lyrics then. I'm listening back this morning (on my morning train commute to work), and I'm ok with what's here - I like it.. Late last night I was thinking that some of my added lyrics would need a "tune up". I get more critical on my own stuff when I stay up later than I should. Thanks foir your thumbs up.

Thanks Carolyn. Your comment made me smile. I'm very happy with "smooooooooot". I will definitely strive to achieve "smooooooooot" again on some other Nicola projects. Nicola's music allows for this to happen.
