What does it need?

Overall, I like the song a lot. Especially the first 3 minutes - solid as a rock. At 5 minutes, it's a little long for my ear. The material between 3:00 and 5:00 is a little repititious - too many instances of certain nice passages.

So, two ideas:
1. maybe edit down the last 2 minutes to about a minute?
2. guitar lead is nice (in the last 2 of 5 minutes), but too short; needs to be added to: either more melodic or more pronounced or both to make this guitar presence more memorable and the last minute of the song more definition?

Thanks, I agree, it is too long and repetitive.

Because of the guitar in the last 2 of 5 minutes, I was also thinking a vague sax type thing over the top. Maybe one of Marty's psychedelic sax things ie G2.
