I had meant to do a complete redo of this, but instead ended up just making some additions tonight. I've got In-laws coming for the next couple weeks, so this is sort of a last opportunity for music for the near future. Hope you like... thanks

I got a pill in my pack that’s right for you
Got some pills that’ll make it out of sight for you
Yeah, one to knock you out and two to snap back
One to make you hard and two to go slack
These will make your lips puff up like Jolie
These will make you shed some pounds, just trust me
These here are special pills!
I got a couple capsules that’ll make you thin
And a little orange pill that’ll tan your skin
And just in case you’d be tryin to catch a girls eye
Get your fill with a pill full of Spanish Fly
This’ll make you smile when times are tough
Honestly, I can see how you can take enough
In and out, in and out of the pharmacy
There’s no harm you see…
These here are special pills!
I got some news for you, It’s just a placebo!
Them ain’t no special pills
A dose in the morning and another at night
A little tablet mellows you just right for stage fright
Got one for the gout and two for bad back
And one to help you craft a perfect six-pack
Settle down with a chill pill, buddy boy
Add a pound to the big dill, oh my!
In and out, in and out of the pharmacy
There’s no harm you see…
These here are special pills
These here are special pills
They'll get the damn thing done!
I recommend these pills to you and everyone!
I pop a few pills too, as a matter of fact
First it's "ooh la la", then Boom Shacka Lak!
You know it's only fair to have a first hand view
If it's good for me, then it's good for you too
Once you have some you're gonna need more
and you see, with me, you know you'll always score
So come back soon with the green and the ills
and I'll send you home with a handfull of pills
Oh baby, settle down....
Here comes your Ritalin dream
I'll put some Sponge Bob on,
and you can melt into the scene
Open wide, and take your special pills
Yes, open wide, and take your special pills!

excellent, Mike - I love this. :D
I've got a few other things on my plate to wrap up before I get back to this, so there's time for tweaks where people want to make them.
My tendinitis is almost totally gone - haven't had a twinge in a while now, so I may tackle some of this myself as well. :D

Love to hear your tackle this, but carefull with the tendinitis...no good pills for that yet ;)
I'll do another bass take.
-On the whole of the verses...should I go for more variation or a very consitant pattern?
- after the first chorus there's 8 bars before the voc. starts....nice place for some drum&bass breaks/gymnastics?
- the first 2 bar bass solo I'll redo....the second I like...I'll upload the sep with the sound.
- after the solo's it's not clear to me where it's going...maybe a nice place to insert the tv-commercials...and thén going to the final chorus....dunno.
could use some feedback.
the second chorus I like very much, first 8 bars one octave higher , then dropping... works nice with the vocals.

Cool, Mike.
Anton, yeah - it's not quite healed up yet which sucks. I'm very impatient. lol...
So, I'd say try variations where they make sense - I think beat one and the syncopation in each measure would be best served if that could be consistent so the flow is smooth.
I'm thinking of maybe some tenor sax - or maybe alto, soloing in a few of the open spots, but I have to hear things a bit more concretely to know.
I like the chorus as well.
Also, some parts where there's that much space I may prune - we'll see. I'd like to hear back from JohnRick since he put up a very solid drum part.
I also agree that the second solo is a win, sound wise, et al. :)
I've asked Matt Christensen to redo the guitar leads, but if I get healed up I may do them myself.
We'll see - it's at least another week, I think...
