Ok, all in, with adjustments made based on the teaser mix.
@Mike: feature, please.
We have 1 day to make any changes, so please listen and get your feedback in.
:)

Ok I would like to hear the mix without the synth. For some reason this mix sounds very busy. I think the drums sound great.

Just listened to this now... And need to listen on some proper speakers, but it Does sound very dense.... Even in the verse where there are no keyboard parts. Could it be that the vox is fighting with the guitar a bit too much? Dunno.... Let me have a listen thru man speakers and I'll report back..
EDIT...
yeah - just my opinion, but the guitar levels sound superb in the intro and bridge / solo sections, but could maybe come down a tad in the verse (or bring luke up a bit?).
One other tiny thing (and being uber picky) - where the music stops dead after the chorus (NOT the tape stop) the snare sounds a but too truncted. If you could let it ring for an extra 16th before cutting out the wav it will have gone past the "attack" part of the snare and into the decay / relese bit. It's a touch late because it's a flam (again - it's the only technical drum word I know!).
I'm aware that time is against us here, so again, really sorry for the late contributions from me ...

I will let you make the call guys. I could pick out the different guitar parts before and now with the synth I cannot. But if you guys feel this helps the song and we need to think of it for a video game then we need to go with it.

I think the orchestral part is the problem, sadly. It brings so much drama, but it's core frequencies are fighting the bass and the guitars from 200Hz up to 800Hz. I can't adjust for that w/o something giving, and I've pulled back so much of the orch that it might as well go. I think the strings are right on.
Let me do up a mix w/o the orch, and maybe use the midi to fill in a bit.
I'll check the flam - I thought I'd cut in the right spot, but sounds like I missed. :)

Sounds like a plan to me!
The orch bit might actually work just being replaced with timpani actually (or just gone as you say).
Whatever works best for everyone! :)

So on the snare I had cut it after the waveform for the paraflamadiddle double shot expired, but I'll remove the cut on that track entirely for the next mix. :)

so this weekend we need to submit.
Who is going to e-mail it?
Whoever does the subject needs to be (summoner name)-(region)-Champion rocks.
and attach the MP3 as 160kbps mp3 no more than 5MB.
You must include your real name and summoner name, and a link to the utube.
I'm not trying to be pushy...but tick tock tick tock.

fwiw, I just hand played the tympani part using your orch as a ref. You couldn't just play the same thing for each section, could you? :-\

Well.. where's the fun in that ??? Copy paste is for wimps :)
Midi is up sir. Just tested it in Cubase before I uploaded it too. the famous schoolboy error of "exporting all the midi tracks without un-muting them first" rides again!

I can hardly move my mouse in here. I think I'm running out of space in this room and it might be time to "build a shed". Meh.

Ok, so I've had to ditch the orch part, but kept the tympani, strings and horns. This really clears things up. Mix up in a bit.

Shame, really - I like the orch, but it was right at the same freq/notes as the bass and was making that muddy and funny sounding, and Matt doesn't need any help there...
