I just listened to v3 sep (just by itself, not in mix), it sounds a bit different to v2? Anyways I'm assuming you're cool for me to use sep3 in the mix?

Use whatever makes sense for you - including chopping them up to form a composite if that works.

I just got on a bit of a run with it last night. I was having a good time and ended up with 3 versions - all 3 have good bits and not so good, but I'll leave it up to you to do what's right for the tune.
The final one (3) does have some nice little kicks running through it and it's also probably has the fewest errors.

I know what you mean with kids birthdays - I have two girls and birthdays are an extreme social event... for a while at least.
