Inspiration credit also to my Son who passed September 17, 2011. This Fathers day June 17, 2012 was my first without him and a very strange thing happened on the morning of Fathers day as I was "falling awake." I passed by his old room and his television was on. I still haven't cleaned out his room. And this was very strange since no one else was in the house or occupies his room. I was hoping it was a dream; but it was'nt. and there is no explaination. I left the TV on all day, turned it off at about midnight and it has not come back on since then.Then Joel uploaded a lyric on June 18th that seemed to fit what i was feeling and going thru. That was even stranger. I know nothing lasts forever but his spirit is with me I guess forever. Strange !!!

when I wrote my portion of the lyric.....

What be strange to us .. are things we ignore in normal reality. Out mind filters them out. I think Carl Jung said it best ... it is the task of science to make statistic of everything in order to come up with a general 'law' or rule .. and they do that by marginalizing the exceptions as aborations. When in reality .. reality IS composed of these exceptions.

My youngest son (now 24) has had a back injury since the age of 12. Very painful. Something that has made him miss out of a normal childhood. But when he was about 10 years old .. one night I noticed a monk in brown habit .. standing near his bed while he slept. Not being able to see his face .. it did not bother me because I knew who he was anyway. A friend of mine who died about 1989. The first time he appeared at our home I was SCARED shit-less! because it broke every rule of reality I had known all my life. At the time he stood over my son the message was clear .. that he would be watching over my son. Of course at the time this was just a curiosity. But later (his back injury) in retrospect .. I got the message loud and clear.

Everyone .. has a story to tell like this if they only felt secure to tell it.

reality is .. composed of .. exceptions my friend.
