New mix with Craig's drums and the hammond part worked in. I edited the hammond to pull the gliss off's out in a few spots so they didn't stand out as much. :)

Please let me know what you think. :)

:D

I like what you played on this a lot - the fills are great - they always catch my ear (in a good way).

Yeah great mix bill - and I like what you've done with the hammond.... much more subtle!
It sounds like SSD hasn't played nicely with my vdrums hi hat pedal CC settings.... it's noticeable in the intro parts... can you hear it keep muting when it's not supposed to ? Bugger! I only noticed it with headphones on now...

[EDIT] The guitar parts in this (all of them) are just killer BTW!

I try and pretend hihat's don't exist and tune them out if possible.

:D

This may be my fault - you panned your hats (again... :-| ) and so I mono'd the track.

Are they panned in different places?

Give it a check on the sep you put up...I can let it be (horribly) panned to one side if it needs...

Very Cool! Nice mix. Very nice blend of the Hammond, and the guitars are mixed just right.

@1:57 there seems to be an exessive low tone, I think from my Bass. And I selfishly hoped the Bass notes and slide @2:18 would stand out a bit more :-D
I really like how the Bass Slide brings the song in! Thanks

Matt, I'm also playing all my parts on an 8 string and using a lot of drones, which would be a low E an octave below the 6th string on a guitar (the way I tune it). So it may be me, or a combination of both of us. I'm not noticing it jump out, tho' when I listen. I check it on a few diff speakers (I got this really great VRM Box from focusrite that allows you to listen to your mix in different environments with diff professional speakers. For $79 I have a set os NS-10's, Genelecs, auratones, etc.).

I'll remix and get the harmonics and slide there to come out more - they are both great!

:)

Hey Bill - I didn't realise the hats were panned ? It must have been a default setting in the SSD kit preset. I'll check the pan before I upload the next batch of seps.

Yeah and the cymbals. :D

ez/superior drummer does the same thing - I catch it because I always route them to a track I the daw vs using the internal mixer.
