September

The leaves were starting to turn
A damp mist all around
We were young, and in love, that fall, so…

Long ago; I still re-live those days
When we laughed; Our love ablaze.
Do you still remember, that September?

We stayed in all the time,
Just to talk about, I don’t know I’m,
Trying to think without the pain, of betrayal. It was so long ago

Long ago, I still re-live those days
When we laughed; our love ablaze.
Do you still remember, that September?

In another life, we could’ve been,
Finding love, and life from within,
Doesn’t always go the way you expect it to,
You were, just there, you went away.
Seems so long ago
That September.

Hey there Mark..another vox version for your song mate.

:-)

Thanks Ian - a lot of work's gone into that! I really like the backing vox in the 2nd verse, that's very nice work.

You've done a great version, I like it a lot. I think it needs blending in with backing more which I can do if you upload seps. The only addition that might be worth doing (if you are inclined) is more back-ups on the bridge. You're hitting some great notes at that point and the extra voice would bring it out even more.

Anyhow old chap, let me know - your take isn't far from publishing imo.

Cheers Pal..Yeah..I was thinking about a high harmony over the bridge. I can insert that tomorrow. An early night tonight I'm afraid. I'll get the seps up tomorrow for you for experimentation sometime then. :)
