It's hard to believe a whole year has passed since I spent two days working on that guitar idea. I was like a little girl, eagerly awaiting what kind of reaction it would get from the other project members. So young, so naive...

Don't feel bad. You did a bang-up job, but you aren't exactly Eurovision Song Contest ready. Sell that guitar and buy a drum machine, babe. Nobody wants to hear your old-man-music. ;-) j/k

But I must clarify that this isn't actually a version, this is only a tribute. A tribute to a very significant (to me) guitar idea I had. I heard what I thought would be something unique and special for this song but it would require more sonic control of my instrument so I went out and bought an expression pedal specifically to use on this project.
The learning curve was steep but it all would be worth it because the feedback I would receive, good or bad, would be invaluable to my growth as a musician.

Well, whatever you want to call it, still sounds fabulous! :)
