Changed "cue start" to skip the sync tone on playback.

This song is very awesome. Love the lyrics, voice, structure. Familiar yet original.

I must admit though, that the guitar solo is not as flawless as I would like it to be. It's my only criticism.

Hi Adam, nice job. The vocal sounds good. In fact, I'd love to hear it louder in the mix. This song gets in my head some days. A good sign!

When you say; "Here is how the song is now and how it will be..." do you mean you don't want anything else added to this project?

I also agree with Billy about the guitar solo.

Pascal, you have taken this project to a new level, i.e a good one :-)

Stuart,

I PM'd Adam last night about the chance of getting individual tracks for his guitar and vocals. That's on the cards when he's less busy. I also have a mix of The Best which I've been holding on to specifically for the additional tracks reason. And, on a side-note, I also have a bass part for it too. Once everything's "ready", we'll have two different mixes.

Great. I've been looking forward to hearing your bass on this project.
Is Adam trying to say that he doesn't want any further contributions?

Hi, Stuart.

The song does seem pretty "complete" - but Adam would be the best person to clarify the position. For me, it's the sheer simplicity that's the real attraction [and power] of the song. Adding extra material could possibly take those factors away. Again, Adam can keep is clear on these things.

The A11/E chord (all open strings on the guitar) at 3:23 sounds out of place
;-)

I'd like a crack at the guitar solo, if he's amenable. But in thinking, does it really need one there?

Hi Brian, I realize that this is not my project but...I hear (ie. imagine) a tele/strat type of sound that has a presence throughout the song, then solos at the end. Alternatively, an acoustic (steel strings or nylon) could sound nice soloing instead.
