Now here's the rub. The melody, bridge and chorus intermingle with the overall chord progression.

The chord progression is based upon 2 phrases.

Phrase 1: Amin/Dmin/Fmaj/Emin-Gmaj (last part can have Fmaj over Emin)
Phrase 2: Amin/Cmaj/Dmin/Fmaj-Gmaj

The phrases occur in the following sequence:

I-M-M-B-C-C-M-M-B-C-C-E-M-M-E-B-C-C-C-C-C-C
