except for the mix, I don't mix well

i think my actual guitar track sounds like crap right now. I have access to good equipment, so if there's no hurry, I can get a crispier, professional version of it in a couple weeks.

edit, I just realized that the ending is screaming for that classic jazz ending chord.. at least in my head it is. I might reload the separate guitar track with the chord at the end.

I think we're playing a 6th. Are you thinking something like a flat 9? Might work. MDK could probably tell us off the top of his head whether it would be hip or just ugly. Me I'd just try it & see if I liked it.

Just listened. Great solo! This is so cool. I like the comping stuff too, but I'm probably going to use just bits of it so it's got more of a "wow" factor than having it start to finish. And if I can get some other contributions that will probably have an impact on what I use in the final mix as well. You gotta know that I love it all, tho.

When I get home from avoiding my responsibities at the day job I'll see what mix creeps up from the mire...
