Kompoz Radio: December 2008

Episode #5 of the Kompoz Radio Podcast ushers in the 2008 Holiday Season! Mike Gervasi returns to host his 3rd show, complete with new installments of Kompoz Rewind and Unfinished Gem. Like all of our shows, this podcast features great music created by Kompoz members from all over the world. Also included are holiday greetings from members, and a special guest interview.

I listened already now, to avoid the Christmas rush, and - again - hats and hockey helmets off to Mike! Great show!.

Very very nice to hear Lonnie's smooth and silky voice, and to get some background on this guy who thinks he is a bass player but is actually a world-class singer :).

A good and varied song selection, and I am still laughing too hard for comfort at the little "commercial" segment towards the end. And of course - excellent hosting.

I myself have a face which works really well in radio, Mike has the voice (of Kompoz). Hmmm "The Voice Of Kompoz", is that not a brand owned by Alan™ Jackson©

Great podcast Mike, I really like this radio format.
Also listen to other Kompozer voice over the net is a cool idea.

nice one mike, thanks for including a project i wasinvolved in. i definitely get the feeling theres a world out there when listening to this and i defintely agree with your ideas on stripping a song back. the unfinised gem may not need finishing pretty haunting.

boy with a coin by iron and wine is on my top five songs at the moment, and i'd recommend anyone to get a daniel Johnston compilation for the sheer colour of his compositions.

MAN The December Podcast was the BEST YET, Mike is doing a great job!!

I also want to comment on the great site growth experienced this past year, So much great new talent, awesome new sponsors, the Rudy thing, & everyone starting to click with musicians they have now known awhile & are starting to gel with!
