Someone has to tell me how you embed the player in a blog sometime. I have pasted in the same code as I have seen in other posts but so far the best I can do is a link. The final draft is below via YouTube. Please let me know what you think about it. |
Can't seem to get the YouTube importer to find my account but the link goes to a video of Mutant Sombreros. I am just fooling around with shooting webcam video and syncing it to an animation out of Newtek's Lightwave 3D. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=naSdtpxKxgQ Spin |
Usually I wouldn't do this but recently a young researcher ( Rong Wang user name laurawr) seeking to complete a study on the social networking aspects of Kompoz as part of their education contacted me for help. We get a lot in the way of spam and we torture those folks accordingly but in this case I think it might be interesting to see, once enough folks have taken the survey to make it statistically viable, how we look on the "social side". Currently there have been only 21 folks who have taken the survey with others likely not seeing its value or thinking it is another one of those outsiders with ill intent here. I am posting this to encourage more folks to join in and take it. It will seem to ask many questions that really don't seem to apply here (and since that is what the study was aimed at this sort of discovery is not a bad thing) so simply answering honestly will yield results that may well show how different we are as a social community, one that is primarily focused on the work and less on the social (not that we don't socialize, we simply have a different purpose and a great deal of unity on why we are here). The blog concerning the survey is here http://www.tiny.cc/6ow94 and I am lending my recommendation to participate here in the hope that enough folks will fill it out so that this young person can have a sucessful project and when they share it with us...we might yeild some useful information for Raf or as a way to further promote our site and its values. End of soap box and despite the fact that I am on my knees begging you to take part I am still: The great and powerful Dank Spinatra...boy clown. |
Posting this for fun. My most recent blog entry on the importance of integrated campaigning in your marketing plans. It really is no different for musicians marketing on the web, the "marketing conveyor" part anyway, and who knows some of you who have "marketing day jobs" may find something useful in the article. So what's your marketing conveyor look like? See why you should know at http://www.btumarketingservices.com Cheers musician marketeers! |
