Cmputer Crash

A couple of days ago my computer had a crash... the data were not lost but I had to change to a new computer so now I'm a windows 7 owner (not 8 because I didn't like it :-) ).

The big problem for now is to reinstall all the programs because a lot were old so now I have problems with the new system.

Also with my Mackie Tracktion (music editor) I have latency problem that I didn't have in the xp system... I don't know how to fix it so if you don't see new songs posted by me is because I still have latency problems and looking to fix it :-)

Few days ago I met an italian musician that show me the prototype of all the Stratocaster .

The bridge has the number 001/1952 -

His father worked with Leo Fender in the '50 . In the '52 they produced 1000 Stratocaster but the product wasn't good so they destroyed 999 guitars . His father got one and didn't destroy it.

As you know the story, Fender produced the Stratocaster in 1954 (2 years after that prototype)

According with the Fender company, the guitar is real (the body) and seem to be the only one survived since 1952.

any Kompoz Meeting ideas ??

I Know... I know... every few month I ask the same question: " when the next kompoz meeting and where ?? "

I also know that we all live in different part of the world so for all of us could be an expensive meeting but..... can we find a way to do it in a cheap way ? let put on the table some ideas and maybe we can find one that works :-)

I really enjoyed the Sweden Meeting (thanks Bjorn & wife for the kind hospitality) so why I push for another Kompoz meeting.

Hand Made Basses from Italy

Hi Kompozers,

A friend of mine, Mr Pierluigi Cazzola asked me a favour. He makes hand-made basses. His company is LAURUS and he's looking for shops abroad that sells hand made basses.

So here I am to ask you : " Does in your country there are shops that sells not just commercial basses like fender, gibson, ibanez ecc... but sells also hand made basses? "

I really appreciate if you can send me links of that shops so we can contact them.
