Well, I've been playing guitar for about 7 odd years, started with classical, learnt that for about 4 years, but didn't really like it that much, electric was what I really wanted to do. My influences would be David Glimour, Santana, and myself I guess. I play what ever sounds right, I don't try to copy anyone. But I think I probably sound most like David Gilmour, I really admire his guitar playing, his ability to be able to write a guitar solo that just sticks in your head. He mightn't be the most technically accomplished player, but he sure knows how to write a solo. I'm in two bands at the moment, Deus Sceptrum, my main band, which we do progressive rock/metal. Our influences are Pink Floyd, Dream Theater, and Evanescence. The second band is Spam, I just joined that, they do Alt rock, mainly,. And that's about it about me...
