My name is Jorge [Horhey] in Phoenix, Arizona, in the beautiful [incredibly hot blistering suffocating] Sonoran Desert.  My heritage is European.  Reverbnation and Soundcloud /jorgeburrage.

Arizona is the most beautiful state in the US, no water but lots and lots of beach.  Rainfall is about 7 1/2" a year and mountains everywhere, even downtown. 

Instrument:

Solid body Zeta 4-string electric violins.  The bridges have 8 pickups each, 2 per string, and there is a small 6-channel mixer with master inside having a preamp for each string. 

How I Record: 

I record like an electric guitar at a studio thru the effects not dry.  Digitech, Lexicon, TC Electronics, and Alesis [mostly] effects plus Sonar for multitracking through an M-Audio Delta 1010 interface, Windows.

Genres:

Power Pop, Ambient, Easy Listening, New Age, Rock, Smooth Jazz, Fusion, Country on occasion. 

Influences:

Jean-Luc Ponty, Ponty, then there is Ponty lol, Narada, Boyd Tinsley from Dave Matthews Band, Windom Hill Artists, Ancient Future, etc.  Chubby Wise, Byron Berline, Vassar Clements.
