I have been playing guitar for about 24 years now. It has always been a passion for me. I played out in a cover band for a few years in the 90's but have mostly been a bedroom musician. I started writing original songs in the 80's but didn't get a little more serious about it until a few years ago when I met my now ex Sarah (hence the original user name DerekandSarah). Sarah and I are still planning on recording and writing together but daily life tends to get in the way. I have been writing material on my own and love Kompoz for the ability to actually record with other musicians again.
