I've been playing bass since the age of 14. Now that I'm 40-something and counting I've been playing for 208 dog-years. My first love is rock, but anything that is done with true heart and soul, no matter what the genre, will usually attract my attention.

I had a working jazz trio for many years, played with original acts, cover bands, dance bands, theater groups and about everything in between.

My primary instrument is a Fender Jazz bass. I also have and electric upright and an Ibenez Road Star that is strung with the lower strings of a five string bass. I record using Sonar. I can add keys and some guitar when needed/inspired.

Bands that have inspired me: Little Feat, Steely Dan, Yes, The Dixie Dregs, Jethro Tull, Jeff Beck, Jaco Pasrtorius, Paul Chambers, Robert DelLeo, Stone Temple Pilots, ELP, The Allman Bros, Foo Fighters, The Clash, Deep Purple, Public Enemy, older Gensis. Wow, I could go on forever!
