Lee Sharp & Tim Rose (ecopunk the band) featuring just Lee's vocal and lyrics http://www.reverbnation.com/leesharp
Myself and Tim Rose (ecopunk) have formed a band / brand called 'ecopunk' as a result of our collaborations here on Kompoz. You will hear a lot of our joint efforts on mine and Tim's page http://www.kompoz.com/compose-collaborate/memberId-24013/profile.member

We just seemed to click music wise so it seemed the obvious thing to do. Going forward we hope to be writing more and more together as 'ecopunk' the band whilst obviously still collaborating as individuals with the fine people here on Kompoz.
About me.....
I can normally adapt to most styles if i think something is a good song or i fancy a stab at creating something. I will give it a go anyway. I play by ear and feel only so notes and chords don't mean anything to me really it's what ever sounds right. I had keyboard lessons a couple of times but gave up. Makes me a bit of a lazy player but simple is best I feel. I just tend to play and go with it.
I now have a decent i7 pc and invested in Cubase 6 with a small midi keyboard to record tracks / songs / ideas with at the moment. Until i get my studio finished in the garage I have to get this out in the living room and set it up every night if i want to record something, but it is a quick set up and plug in to the back of the computer so it enables me to play music. Bit uncomfortable though when sitting on the sofa, the back is killing!
At the minute I am using wirless headphones to mix which are not ideal I know but it gets me by.
About two years ago I started playing percussion (just tambourine) at a local pub. As I had no means of playing music at all this was a way of getting it out of my system, well rhythm anyway. This then developed in to me getting a Cajon (wooden drum box) which I love playing as it is a quick set up being acoustic. That said i have since got a 600 watt powered speaker and i mic it up now which sounds even better now but a lot of gear to take with me when I play a gig . Check out a clip in my videos of this great bit of kit when i had a jam with some friends.
My influences are 80's electronic and my hero would be Vince Clarke from Depeche Mode / Yazoo or Yazz as i think they are called in the U.S. and Erasure The guy is a song writing / sound making genious in my eyes.
My claim to fame would be a tour with Roy Wood out of Wizard / ELO famous for the Christmas song 'Wish It Could Be Christmas Every Day' (well in the uk anyway) and Blackberry Way etc. when i did a 28 date tour with my band ,as the support band ,playing keyboard and playing at some of the big theatres across the UK. At the time we were doing The Who / Blur / Oasis / Robbie Wlliams / The Kinks covers.
This online music collaboration is new to me really and so are DAWs but enjoying the concept to this point so will see what happens. I would love to collaborate with people that are in to electronic / dance music really and become the new Depeche Mode in my eyes but as I say quite happy to collaborate on anything, with anything and everything, if it is a good song.
I have not looked back since I found Kompoz and its wonderful community!
Cheers Lee
