Hello, (Hola, Bonjour, Hallo, Ciao, etc.) everybody!

Great to be here - this is an amazing place. I love the fact that you can find collaborators from all over the world, each bringing a unique style and viewpoint to your projects. Plus, it's fun to mess with other people's music!

As for me, I'm a fair to middling guitarist/songwriter just looking to do this for recreation and feedback. So far, so good. I don't have a ton of equipment - as of now, I record on an iBook using Garageband and GuitarPort. As for gear, I own a PRS Santana, a Mexi-Strat, a Yamaha Pacifica (Tele shaped), an Alvarez acoustic (I'd like to upgrade), a cheapo Squier bass, various stompboxes, and a good old Fender Blues Jr. amp.

I grew up listening to everything from syrupy 60's pop to 80's hard core, so I've really gained a feel for working with various genres. Or at least faking it successfully.

I have started a band - GoodSam! That's the good news. The bad news is that I won't have as much Kompoz time as I've had in the past. But, please, if you have something, please feel free to send me an invite. Peace!
