It'll hit the App Store tomorrow morning. I'm not even going to try to resist updating. No doubt there'll be conflicts. What doesn't kill me makes me stronger. If it kills my Apogee Duet, thats another story.
Updated. Everything seems to be working except the focusrite VRM box - it loads the drivers, the UI loads, but it produces no sound. Focusrite notes this issue - I failed to check it before starting the install. Doh. I checked everything else.
So update: the VRM box works fine. I don't know why it wasn't working when I tested initially, but it does now, so I'd say there was a fault between the keyboard and the chair.
It appears that the latest version of the VRM software has a serious bug in it that at least one other kompozer has discovered. I've filed a bug, but the short of it is that the VRM box can easily be pushed into a state where the midi clock sync gets screwed up and a very painful squeal of feedback will be generated. This happened to me with a proj that had 9 audio only tracks.
I downgraded from the 1.2.1 version to 1.2 and this problem seems to have gone away.
If you haven't upgraded to 1.2.1, you may want to avoid that until they have a new release.
I jumped up to 10.8 and it was a battery drain for me. At Apple forums they say these things happen with initial releases of a new OS. So bad. I had started to like it. I went back to 10.6.8 after a painful hard drive erase and re-install of all my stuff.
