First, you have an incredible voice and the song is great. I would consider changing the (end) lyrics to:
Come in from the outside
'cause here on the inside
my love is waiting for you.

Thanks- for your input!
I appreciate all feedback ;) I have always played this for years, for me personally, I like that this has the original flow of how I wrote it. This is a pretty personal song to me and reflects a time in my life. I have always played this when I was kinda down- and this lifted my spirit. I am so glad others enjoy this. Not that all my songs are about me. I just look around-I find inspiration in so many areas in life as well as myself. And- to give an enormous amout of credit to the other musicians that brought this to life.
I mean no disrespect-love what you sent to me. If I could go back when we started I might have considered this. By any means -I do not consider myself a professional lyricist or vocalist. I just create what I feel.
Sincerely,
Jeanette

This is the wonder: something of so intimate makes a step out of your door and his destiny is to turn around the world, probably it was the moment.

I really like this. This has that warm/regret feeling that is so hard to capture.
So, my input.
If I had my druthers.
I would go back and redo the reverb on the vocals because it's too heavy in places and too thin in others (just my opinion).
I would light a fire under the musicians to dig, at least, as deep as the singer(again, my opinion. I don't feel the burn from them, unlike the singer).
Some subtle (almost undertone) harmonic backup vocal tracks would really help spread this already smooth track into buttery heaven.
To the singer: You do aching regret dashed by cold reality better than most, I wish I had those chops.
That's it, mock away.
I love this track.
