HAPPY GO LUCKY

There use to be a time I had to have everything to work out just right

I’d lie wide eyed and contemplate the day all through the night

Seems I‘ve always been a little daunted

By something I never even knew I always wanted

I wasn’t good, wasn’t bad, wasn’t happy or sad, I just toe the line

And I know time flies so why do I take my time to fly

I think I’ve always been a little haunted

By something I never even knew I always wanted

When the moment came I felt a hard rain and the truth shined on me

I made up my mind right then and there to go on Happy-Go-Lucky

I dug up the daydreams I had buried

Hung up the hang-ups that I carried

I’m getting ready to fly

I think I’m ready to fly

And sometimes it all works out when you fly undaunted

I’m happy I am lucky to be feeling like I always wanted
