Is something wrong with the download site?

I have had 2 mp3 downloads stuck in queue for almost 3 hours.

Job numbers 155107 and 155108

Yes mine are just stuck too. Just spinning in the queue and have been for the last 2 hours with no means of deleting them to start again it seems.

I send two messages to whomever administrates the site (this morning and just now) and then thought to look on the forum. I'm glad I'm not alone. Misery loves company! LOL...

Could it be the 'doomsday' virus? :-0

The site needs a serious outage report page so that when something like this happens it can be filed then Raf gets an instant text to spring in to action and keep all in the loop as to what is going on. I think we would all be responsible enough not to abuse it. Just an idea.

Amazing how it puts you right off kilter when the site is not working. I suppose that is a reflection of how addictive it is and how big a part it plays in our lives.

No hint of a fix from anyone either? They all must be on holiday or have their heads locked in trying to fix it.

Glad to see I'm not the only one then.. er..actually not exactly glad.

 I kept trying to re-download the tracks I was trying to get, and now have about 6 tracks in the queue. I even signed up for "dropbox", but alas, same result.

 Yep...serious problem I would say.

So my assumption is someone at Kompoz will post to this thread eventually? Perhaps an email burst to all users? Something like:

" Dear Kompoz user, due to maintenance, you may experience difficulty with the download module. We are addressing this issue and will post in the "Tech Support" forum when the issue is resolved."

Well... that's the way I would handle it :-\

haha  ... we do things a little differently around here.  anyway, that way seems a catastrophic reaction to me.  Also, it may not effect every user.  Oz will make it all better.  Tea time.

It will be announced I am sure and it probably won't cost us anything again:)

We're on it.  I will post an update as soon as it is resolved.

Everything should be back to normal now.  However, I did have to kill about 15 queued downloads.  If you are one of those, I apologize.  Simply requeue and it should work.  Thank you for your patience.

Just uploaded a wav and then downloaded it again - All looking good here.
