My good friends Mr. Nice Guy asked if they could record a cover of the Kompoz song Good Thing.  Since that was one of my songs I started way back during the launch of Kompoz, I was thrilled and honored. 

Last week, they sent me a scratch demo they produced without vocals.  I suggested I contact Karl, who did a vocal take on the Kompoz version, to see if he'd be interested in singing on their mix. They agreed, and Karl agreed, and here's the result:

I'm so thrilled with this!  I love the groove, the horns, the vocals -- everything about it.  It's cool to see Kompoz songs being covered by bands in the real world.  If anyone plays in a band, I'd love to hear and see you cover a Kompoz song.  Send me a video or an audio recording and I'll feature it here.
