Kompoz CD: All Over The Map

Last week we announced our intention to produce the first Kompoz CD, with distribution to CD Baby, iTunes, and the Amazon MP3 store. Rick suggested the title "All Over the Map", which I like a lot because of the double meaning. As Rick noted, it speaks to the different genres this album will contain, and to the geographical composition of the Kompoz members contributing to the CD.
So the title has been chosen!
That's one decision down. The next decision is of course the song list. I've pretty much decided on 10 of the 12 or so songs I'd like to publish. Don't ask me for the list yet, because I'm not saying until I've made sure the songs can be used. I'll be contacting all of the project members involved and working with the project owners to 1) make sure proper credits are assigned to the contributors, 2) produce final mixes, and 3) get legal sign-off from all involved. I'll also be working out the details on how proceeds will be dispersed.
The next decision is the album art. I've had plenty of people contact me saying they are interested, but only two have produced ideas. That's probably my fault. I complicated things by pointing to the 8 panel CD Jewel case template, which as I've learned, has four different variants. Instead, I should have asked that we just concentrate on the cover itself, and worry about the liner notes and panel details after the cover art has been selected. So, let's do that -- focus on just the CD front cover art for now.
Here are a couple of ideas submitted by Kevin (by the way, you can see more on his profile) and by Mike. Keep 'em coming!
