Kompoz Updates: New Flash Player and More
Tue, Jul 15, 2008 07:08 PM CDT - Byraf
We have a new MP3 Music Player on Kompoz.com! The new player appears at the top of each page, and will stream audio for any track that you select anywhere on the site. The MP3 player offers many improvements over the previous implementations, including:
Automatically linked to the Staff Picks browser and all in-page playback buttons.
Automatically stops any previously playing track when a new track is selected.
Automatically jumps to the next track when the currently-playing track completes.
Previous and Next buttons for jumping to the next track.
Faster load time on playback.
Fixed so that it does not double-count on the play counter.
Shows icon for the Track Type, and includes a time elapsed and time remaining counter.
Other site updates include:
Quick Search field at the top right of each page now shows project hints, with the album art and titles, as you type.
When searching projects using the search forms, the system now takes you directly to the project page when an exact match is found (previously, the system showed the one match in a list format).
Redesigned project and track pages to make all tracks on overview pages playable.

Good stuff, Raf. Staff picks on the first page do not seem to show in FF 2.0.0.15, but that is the only glitch I have found so far.

Only issue I have noticed is, When you view a picture on someones profile... You cant close it because the little X button is hidden beneath the flash player. :-)

Thanks Raf, I like the way it jumps to the next track... I just listened to all of bassfass' tracks here at work nonstop...
