New Kompoz Tracks Page
Fri, Sep 26, 2008 06:55 AM CDT - Byraf
This morning we released an update to your Kompoz projects' tracks page. The biggest change you'll notice is that the tracks are now better organized, making it easier to visually scan down the list of audio files.
Other changes include:
Column headers are now clickable so that you can sort by track type, title, update date, play count, etc.
Added Upload New Track option to top of the page, so that it's always visible.
Added a checkbox next to each track so that you can download more than one at a time. Other operations apply too.
Thanks for all your suggestions. Keep them coming!

It will probably take a bit to adjust myself to it, but it seems much more efficient. Although it took me a while to find that if I bring up the pop-up player by clicking on the track type icon next to a track. That doesn't seem clear enough. but I'm slow to learn. So far it all seems good.

Oh yes. Thanks for the reminder about the popup player. As you discovered, clicking the track type icon (e.g., the guitar icon, or the speaker) will bring up the popup player. I probably do need to make that more obvious.
By the way, other small changes in this release include:
- Podcast now on the home page (thanks Bjorn)
- Add paging controls on forum messages (thanks Tracy)

I love stats and tables.
cheers raf - it feels much better laid out - as you said all tracks can be seen at once.
would you consider putting in a shaded bar across the current featured track - it doesn't get included in sort ascending/descending because it stays at the top?
you neglected to include your avatar in the list of updates :)

Shaded bar for featured track on the way. Good catch. And you noticed by new avatar. Very perceptive.

I like the change a lot, it makes everything easy to see....nice work as always. I just wrote a bit about identifying the featured mixdown, then see you are already on it.... Thanks Raf, also as always

Yeah, I can never find that right string. I'm always looking left, I guess. ;)
