My good friend Scott submitted a short film to the 48 Hour Gorilla Film Competition. If you're not familiar with the competition, the 48gfc rules state that each team has 48 hours (from Friday 5:00pm until Sunday 5:00pm) to write, shoot, and edit a short film. Contestants are assigned a genre and a line that must be included in the movie. They are also given an action that must be performed.
Scott's team blind-picked the genre "vampire movie". The line they had to include was "I do nice things for two reasons and two reasons only: money and sex. The decision is usually based on gender." The action they had to perform was lifting something obviously too heavy to lift.
His film, titled "NosferaTUBE" (see Nosferatu), is below. The compeition is currently in the "judging" stage, and he needs your help! The more views he gets, the better his chances to win the Viewer's Choice Award. Awards are based on the number of people that view it, rate it and add it to their favorites. Give him a rating and pass it along to friends. Post it on your Facebook, your MySpace, anywhere you want.... just pass it on....
Oh, and I told Scott that next time he does this, he needs to let us provide the soundtrack!
