Possible Kompoz Interference (Or Total World Annihilation) Tomorrow

Good luck to all my friends in France and Switzerland. Deep underground on the border between France and Switzerland, scientists will be switching on the Large Hadron Collider. This, of course, will lead to the Earth's demise, or at least possible interruption of Kompoz service for the members in France and Switzerland (which is just as bad).

... and for those with dyslexia, no it wasn't a typo. Hadrons are held together by a strong nuclear force, similar to how atoms are held together by the electromagnetic force. The best-known hadrons are protons and neutrons.

I've read that although they are turning it on, they are doing so to test whether they can get the particles to move in one direction. Once that is successful, they'll see if they can them to move in the other direction. Once the testing is complete, they'll begin to slam the particles into each other and end all life as we know it...or not. So there's still plenty of time to give yourself a kiss goodbye on the backside.

I say make all the music you can before they start the "slam" test and blow up the Earth. Beam your tunes into space so that the Martians can enjoy them. Oh but wait, if a black hole swallows the Earth, I bet Mars is doomed too. Dang.
