Pro Tools 7.4 - Now with Leopard Support!

Fellow Kompozer Cranie alerted me to this much-anticipated announcement: Pro Tools 7.4 is now available for download and officially (finally) supports Mac OS X Leopard. Actually, if you read the fine print, only Pro Tools HD 7.4.1 officially supports Leopard 10.5.1 on the 8-core Mac Pro computers. Pro Tools LE and Pro Tools M-Powered are not yet "officially" supported.
However, there is another announcement from Digi that states Pro Tools 7.4.2pr (Pre-release) is available for download, which provides expanded Mac OS X 10.5.3 Leopard compatibility to Pro Tools 7.4 HD, LE, and M-Powered users. Pro Tools 7.4.2pr software requires Mac OS X 10.5.3, and is not compatible with earlier versions of Leopard.

Tell me about it..Digi was WAYYY behind on this update and it kept me from upgrading to Leopard cause I wasn't about to lose PT 7.4 :)

why is it mac users are never satisfied; much more so than any other type of computer-user? :)....i know we don't need any more wars in the world but if there was a way to wipe out all mac users with a single weapon, I hope they find that weapon. I'm joking of course...we'd obviously have to use a multi-stage strategy :)
