Thank You members of Kompoz

I just wanted to take the time to say thank you to all the great folks who helped me on 'One of those Things'
My daughters birthday was last week and I wanted to do this for her. I wrote the song before we found out about the brain tumor that eventually took her life.
When I would play, she liked to sit beside me and ask me to "Play the song I was born in" refering to the bridge line "Daddy would you like to hold this brand new baby girl"
I actually have two daughters and wrote the line with both in mind. Kate looked like her mother and took the song as hers. It was the last song I played her.
I joined Kompoz on September 13th 2008. I never expected this site to mean so much to me. I feel like I know a lot of you. I especially like the respect everyone has for one another.
There are a few different mixes of the song, but to everybody who played, engineered, suggested ideas or just listened, God bless you.
She would have loved it.

God bless you Jeff. I have suffered another kind of personal loss and will not pretend to know how you are feeling, but my thoughts are with you and making music is a beautiful thing to help you cope.

It is a beautiful song. Recording your creativity in song will allow this story to be told generations after we all move on to better places.
