Upload PDF Attachments!

You asked for it. You got it. Kompoz now has PDF attachments! Upload lyrics, chord charts, tabs, complete scores, and anything else you can stick into a PDF file.
Uploading PDF files works just like uploading audio files. Just choose the new "PDF Attachment" track type option on the upload form, and upload away. Kompoz will add the PDF just like any other track, and add the member to the project (subject to the new audition rules). The PDF file can then be downloaded, or can be viewed within the site using our new PDF viewer. Here's an example:
Many popular DAWs, such as GarageBand and Pro Tools, can create scores in PDF format from your MIDI input. You can also convert Word documents or just about any other file to PDF using a variety of free tools (see below). On a Mac, creating PDF documents is as simple: just choose the print menu on your word processor or graphics program, then select the PDF button on the print options.
Check out some of these PDF creation tools. Please post others in the comments if you've got 'em.
That's a great addition. BTW, for creating PDF's don't leave out Open Office (www.openoffice.org) It's just as powerful as MS Office, if not more so. It exports PDF's and the price can't be beat (it's free).

I am extremely happy that Sven-Martin chose my humble effort to use this functionality and it indeed works very well. Now, when can we expect Kompoz to provide a tool to help me read and understand the sheet music that Sven-Martin provided? :)
