Berklee City Music Network and The Berklee PULSE Music Method join forces with Kompoz.com to make online music collaboration a reality for network students all around the country

Miami, FL April 11, 2011 Today Kompoz, LLC and Berklee PULSE, the web-based music education program of the Berklee City Music Network, are proud to announce a formal partnership in which Kompoz has made available to BerkleePULSE, the full capabilities of the kompoz.com website to all students participating in the BerkleePULSE music education program across the United States.

"The decision to partner with Berklee PULSE was an easy one", says Steve Gardner, director of media relations at Kompoz. "Berklee PULSE had been looking for a centralized platform where students from across the country could collaborate remotely and kompoz was able to fill in the last piece of the puzzle. With facilities across the United States, Berklee PULSE needed a single solution to upload and mix music tracks, along with guiding their students throughout the entire songwriting and production process. Kompoz was more than happy to provide the platform to do so" said Gardner.

In addition to donating KompozPLUS memberships, Kompoz has also created The BerkleePULSE group within the Kompoz community, which gives the students a single point to upload music tracks and communicate seamlessly with other students and advisers. Further, Kompoz has committed to developing the Kompoz/BerkleePULSE Mentorship Program. Kompoz has enlisted members from within the Kompoz Community to provide additional guidance and assist in the overall development of the many talented young people involved in the BerkleePULSE program.
