I've been around music since I grew ears.

Musical preferences: many, difficult to name just a few. It all started with The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Who, The Kinks (been there from the start; all still favorites), on to Genesis, Marillion, Dixie Dregs/Steve Morse, Pink Floyd + Roger Waters/David Gilmour's solo work, Spock's Beard, Jude Cole, Toto, The Police/Sting -- and lots and lots more. Worked in rock journalism & did rock radio shows for many years, and could do some serious name-dropping regarding people I met ;)

I play guitar (not lead, unfortunately), keyboards and sing (uhhhmm, preferably backing vocals) & tie it all together on the computer with a great DAW (reaper.fm) via two Alesis USB mixers. The guitar is an ancient Japanese Fender Strat copy, other sounds come from a fairly ancient E-mu Proteus 2000 synth module and an Akai MPC1000 drum machine, plus from lots of VSTi instruments.
