Achievments:
To date my achievements have been modest. I gained a Music degree and grade 8 guitar several years ago, but I have yet to appear on any studio albums like many of my muso friends bands. I have gigged regularly for the last 10+ years but I always found the coverband option more financially rewarding and less complicated...turn up, play the gig, get paid, go home.....after years of doing this I'm starting to really miss the excitement of writing songs with other people. I'm feeling the creative bug bite me again.
Because I teach music most eveings, this Limits time I can spend with gigging bands playing original material, an evening spent rehearsing with band means losing students and income, collaborating online means I can work on projects in my own time without leaving home studio....Online music collaborations like Kompoz look like a nice way to experience creativity.....
