Playing for about 30 years. Still pretty crap but I like what I do. 

Been in a band when I was younger. When I was a student in Preston (North of England).

In the late eighties I played with a somewhat erratic and wayward musical artist called Robin Baillie (now some kind of bigwig in the Scottish National Gallery hierarchy) who wrote some of the best songs I ever played. Still got the tapes somewhere.  We played with some interesting pretty people. My favourite time was with Suzy Honeymoon (Violin - Mekons), Gareth Sager (guitar vocals - Pop Group) and a bunch of other drop-ins and outs.
