36 years old - been playing 20 years to various degrees. my love (nee obsession) has been jamming; playing in the moment where the interaction is more ioimportant than the finished product - so this is quite a new discipline for me. started with the jamming thing back in 96 and most recent incarnation of group Burning Lantern was involved with carrying this through. played six gigs where we made it up on stage. I'm also able to lay down some nice guitar work if needed. my influences are King Crimson (73-74), Funkadelic (with Eddie hazel) , Mark Knopfler, Del Amitri, John Martyn (one world album), Bobby Womack, Betty Davis (not the actress) My username comes from this ever encroaching culture of taxation for everything - Al Gore is flying the flag for this new breed of crusader, but many people miss the point that it is all designed to squeeze more money and make more laws to impose restrictions on our freedoms (particularly in America over the coming few years) . The problem has been created and now they're going to ride in like saviours with the solution. It made me think are they would tax people for breathing if they could.
