This track is taking FOREVER to do ... and I think it's affecting my brain!?
BTW: This song has no structre yet... I'm open to ideas!
The Story:
I THOUGHT I had a nice set of "Wobble basses" so I wanted to try to make a dub-step song (i don't know why, i just wanted to, OK!?) Anyway, since i don't really do Dub-Step tracks it took me quite a while to put together a nice set of Dub-Step drums. But once I got done laying down the drum track I quickly realized the nice set of "Wobble Basses" i had ... well ... kinda sucked! (They we're sampled sounds and didn't keep in time with the beat and they didn't even loop so they only played for a second and cut off) ... So i started a quest for new Bass sounds ... I evetually discovered the YouTube video above and then spent more time than I'd like to admit making about 25 custom Wabble Basses ... by the time I was done with all that, I laid down a Bassline and then I had to walk away from the track and do "Life Stuff" ... when I came back to it i added all kinds of crazy break-downs and wild drum patterns ... then about 10 minutes after they we're all done; but before they were saved .. MY COMPUTER CRASHED!!! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!
Over the past day I've revisited the track a bunch of times but now that I've spent so much time on it; I kinda "Lost the groove" ... I don't know what to do anymore? UGH!
