I'm working on an episode about a break up phone call and have a file I've slowed down that I thought somebody could cut and slice up and turn into something sort of like postal service meets mum. I love the minor chord that the phone makes in this sample. And I think that there could be a chord progression kind of like "A stranger sleeps alone tonight" by the postal service but it doesn't need to be that exactly. Just these minor chords over what could be a bunch of percussion created out of striking the key pad. The footage is also in slow-motion at times so it makes sense the telephone has been dropped down to 50 percent and I think it makes the phone sounds way more potentially musical and still ties in with the phone thing enough. THe music should be emotive, thats the main thing.
