Bluesy rock inspired by Gov't Mule.
Live drums by Francesco Corrias (Homedrummer) borrowed, with permission, from Lloyd Plueschow's (Lifegaurdlloyd) project "Eric's Boogie"
40 acres and a mule refers to the short-lived policy, during the last stages of the American Civil War during 1865, of providing arable land to black former slaves who had become free as a result of the advance of the Union armies into the territory previously controlled by the Confederacy. The combination of a 40-acre plot and a mule was widely recognized as providing a good start for a family farm.
This song title is simply respect for the band Gov’t Mule…….
